About Me
My name is Marcus Rens. This will be my first year in teaching. I am teaching 7th Grade Social Studies and 8th Grade ELA at Rock Valley Middle School. I coach junior high boys basketball. What I am looking forward to most this year is being apart of the Nighthawk atmosphere and challenging my students every day to learn the best they can in my classroom.

I graduated high school at Boyden-Hull CSD in 2017. I graduated from Northwestern College in Orange City, IA in 2021. At Northwestern I was apart of the Red Raider golf and football teams.

My hobbies include golf, officiating basketball, watching sports, mowing my grandma's lawn in the summer, and golfing some more. My favorite college team is the Iowa Hawkeyes (GO HAWKS) and my favorite professional teams are the Minnesota Twins and the Minnesota Vikings!
